PART-TIME ENGLISH LECTURERS (REF: PT/L/CLE/0602)

Job Desc:
Duties: To teach language proficiency training courses for serving teachers of English; to assist in the administration of the courses and to contribute to the development of teaching, learning and assessment materials. (Successful applicants will be required to teach in the evenings, on Saturdays, and in summer classes at various campuses of the HKIEd.)

Requirements: A first degree in English or a relevant subject and a professional teaching certificate together with a minimum of two years' English teaching experience preferably at the tertiary level for English Language Instructors I or with a minimum of four years' English teaching experience preferably at the tertiary level for English Lecturers. Knowledge of multimedia applications to language learning will be an advantage. Applicants for Instructors I who do not meet all the stated requirements may be considered for the post of Instructor II.

Monthly Salary and Conditions of Service (Salary scales are subject to review)

Part-time English Lecturer : HK$550 per hour fixed
