Centre for Language in Education
Duties: To teach Chinese language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and Cantonese as a medium of instruction courses; to develop teaching modules and self-access materials; to administer courses; and to run language tests.
Requirements: A first degree in Chinese or Chinese language education and a professional teaching certificate and a higher degree, together with a minimum of two years' local teaching experience in Chinese and a high level of proficiency in Cantonese. Applicants who do not meet all the stated requirements may be considered for the post of Instructor II.
Monthly Salary and Conditions of Service (Salary scales are subject to review)
English/Chinese Language Instructor I : HK$24,900 - $41,465
English/Chinese Language Instructor II : HK$17,505 - $27,445
