We are seeking to appoint a Principal as soon as possible so that he / she can oversee construction work, design the school system, lay the foundation for the sustainable development of the school and be involved in other pre-opening planning functions. In addition to the usual school management duties, the appointee is expected to collaborate closely with different sections of the YMCA (in community services, continuing education programmes etc.) and to maintain effective networking with educational institutes locally, in mainland China and internationally.
Requirements:
- Recognized honours degree (preferably post-graduate degree)plus relevant teaching qualifications.
- In-depth understanding of the local education system, school reforms and the policies (including the Code of Aid) of the Education Department and related government departments.
- Proven school management experience as a principal or vice-principal.
- Achievement-oriented, with strong commitment to Christian values and education of young people.
Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience and be in line with the scale for Aided Secondary Schools.
