Course Ref. CHI 101: Chinese I (Putonghua)
-Duration: Fall semester: early September to early November 2002
Spring semester: late January to early April 2003
- Meeting hours:
80 meeting hours during day time (4 lectures x 9 weeks)
- Duties: to perform teaching, assessment & grading, student counseling and to attend staff meetings
- Requirements:
1. Native Mandarin speaker, to know both simplified and traditional Chinese writing is an advance
2. Graduate degree or above in Chinese Language / literature, having at least 3 years of language teaching experience
3. Able to communicate with American students
- Salary: hourly rate, to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
