Duties :
To teach DCPE courses, such as the Associate Degree Programme, Project Yi Jin (毅 進 計 劃 ) and in-service teachers training courses; to assist in the administration of the programme and contribute to the development of teaching and learning materials. The subjects and courses to be taught include Information Technology, Foundation of Arts and Design, Use of Digital Imaging and Software, Basic Multimedia and Animation Design, Marketing Management and Financial Services.
Successful applicants may be required to teach on weekday evenings and Saturdays at various course centres. Applicants are requested to indicate clearly the duration of employment they are applying for and the subjects/courses they are able to teach.
Requirements :
For Lecturer: an honours first degree and a Master's degree in a relevant subject discipline or field, preferably a Doctoral degree, plus a professional teaching certificate or equivalent;at least 4 years' successful teaching experience in the specialism applied for; proficiency in Chinese and English would be a definite advantage; preferably evidence of good research experience/publications in the relevant field(s) and the ability to teach more than one subject.
For Instructor I/II:an honours first degree in a relevant subject discipline or field and a professional teaching certificate together with a minimum of two years' teaching experience; a higher degree in the relevant subject discipline is an advantage; and preferably the ability to teach more than one subject.
