TEACHING ASSISTANTS (REF. 02/064(685)/2) (CLOSING DATE: JUNE 10, 2002)

School of Chinese Medicine
Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with professional knowledge and experience in one or more of the following specialties: (i) Chinese internal medicine; (ii) Acupuncture; (iii) Bone Setting and Traumatology; (iv) Chinese medicinal materials and medicinal plants; (v) Classics and literature of Chinese medicine; or (vi) Biomedical Science. Experience in supporting teaching is desirable. Appointees will assist in preparing teaching materials, vetting examination papers, and conducting laboratory practical and tutorial classes. Appointments will initially be made on one-year contract basis, renewable subject to mutual agreement. [Note: Applicants may consider their applications unsuccessful if not invited for interview by August 1, 2002.]

Monthly Salary and Fringe Benefits
Teaching Assistant: HK$16,095 - 20,485
(approximate exchange rate in May 2002: US$1 = HK$7.75; 1 = HK$11.42; CAD$1 = HK$5.00; AU$ = HK$4.24)
