Department of Chinese Language and Literature
Applicants should have a relevant degree and ample teaching experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in teaching Chinese language at University level and/or preparing teaching materials. The appointee will teach courses in Chinese language. Appointment will be made on fixed-term contract basis for up to two years, expected to commence in the academic year 2002-03.

Monthly Salary and Fringe Benefits
Instructor II: HK$17,100 - 28,745
(approximate exchange rate in May 2002: US$1 = HK$7.75; 1 = HK$11.42; CAD$1 = HK$5.00; AU$ = HK$4.24)
