VACANCIES FOR SENIOR ASSISTANT SECRETARY

Job Desc:
(a) general administrative duties such as accommodation and building management, procedural reviews, personnel matters and staff supervision; OR (b) committee work such as drafting minutes of meetings, conducting background research and preparing information briefs for committees of the Legislative Council; OR (c) handling complaints such as receiving deputations, liaising with Members and Government officials, and coordinating all follow-up actions relating to complaint cases. (Applicants are required to indicate the area(s) of duties in order of preference in their applications.)

Entry Requirements : A recognized university degree and excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English; AND a minimum of 9 years' experience in management, committee work, or complaints handling, preferably with the Hong Kong Government or public sector organizations.
(Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend a written test.)

Remuneration : A monthly basic salary in the range of $50,365 - $77,500 (under review). The successful candidates may also receive a monthly cash allowance and a gratuity upon satisfactory completion of agreement at 15% of basic salary received over the agreement period.
Length of Employment : Up to three years
