Video Technician (REF: SVT)

Job Desc:

Our Broadcasting Services Department is responsible for the live coverage of horse racing in Hong Kong and the production of related promotional video and documentaries for on-air at TV stations as well as display on the giant display screens and closed-circuit TV network at the racecourses. You will provide technical support for all video equipment operated by the Audio & Visual team. You will set up studio cameras, perform CCU operations, tape recording and system alignment to ensure the quality of program meets broadcasting standard. You will also set up micro-wave link for live camera coverage of riverside morning gallop and set up AV system to support various Club functions. In addition, you will provide regular maintenance on all AV equipment and perform trouble shooting down to component level.


About You
You should have:
* tertiary education in Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years working experience in similar capacity in TV stations
* good knowledge in digital video equipment such as video camera, vision mixer, Betacam VCR
* hands-on skills in PC softwares
* good command in spoken and written English and Chinese

Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate with an option for renewal subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
