Job Desc:
(Salary : 28,075 per month)
Entry Requirements : (a) Master (or higher) degree in Sociology/Social Work, or equivalent; (b) have Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) at grade E or above in the HKCEE, or equivalent; and (c) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English.
Duties :
(1) To contribute to the formulation of research agenda of the Health and Welfare Bureau; (2) To assist in the formulation of social science research projects; (3) To provide technical comments and advice on research methodology; (4) To participate in the field work of studies commissioned by the Research Office; (5) To organize datasets and undertake data analysis; (6) To provide interpretation of the analyses; (7) To assist in the preparation of research reports; (8) To advise on the scientific merit of research grants applications; and (9) To undertake other appropriate duties assigned by the supervisor.
Note : (1) Interested candidates should provide details of their relevant experience; (2) Candidates with policy research experience and are skilled in SPSS and other statistical packages will be preferred.
