Job Desc:
(i) reviews the Authority's legal policies and legal procedures periodically and recommends changes when necessary;
(ii) drafts and review contracts and standard form agreements;
(iii) provides legal advice on all complicated and sensitive legal issues in relation to the work of the MPFA;
(iv) prepares and to represent the Authority on cases for appeal hearing, prosecution or civil proceedings;
(v) reviews the MPF Schemes Ordinance and subsidiary legislation periodically and proposes amendments when necessary;
(vi) advises on employment law and all other legal issues; and
(vii) carries out other duties as assigned by the management.
B. Minimum entry requirements:
(i) qualified barrister or solicitor admitted to practice in the HKSAR;
(ii) at least 5 years post-call or 3 years post-admission experience;
(iii) substantial experience in commercial law and in fields related to provident fund administration;
(iv) mature, self-motivated, proven interpersonal skills and organization skills;
(v) good analytical and presentation skills, strong negotiation and advocacy skills; and
(vi) excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
C. Salary: Salary will commensurate with qualification and relevant experience
