Salary: $22,000 per month
Duties: (a) To plan and design researches to support the curriculum development and implementation in TE KLA; (b) to supervise the work of research officers in the TE section; (c) to co-ordinate the development of projects related to the Science and Technology (S&T) curriculum including the building up and delivery of a resource base for the S&T curriculum and the pilot studies on the implementation of the S&T curriculum; and (d) to take part in research and data collection (including school visits, interviews and surveys), be in charge of data analysis and assist in the preparation of the evaluation reports.
Entry Requirements: (a) A local degree or equivalent, preferably in subject areas related to Science, Technology and/or other related area; (b) a master or above degree which is earned wholly or partially by research and (c) 5 years of working experience related to teaching, research and/or administration of staff.
(Applicants with 4 or 3 years' relevant experience by the closing date may also apply. If appointed, his/her salary will be $21,000 and $20,000 respectively.)
