Associate Professor/Assistant Professor In The School Of Creative Media [Ref. D/013/00]

Job Desc:
Duties : Teach and conduct research in digital media including digital sound, digital video, camera and lighting, computer graphics, computer animation, multimedia and interaction.

Requirements : Recognized terminal degree in relevant field with an interest in both the technical and creative sides of modern media. A PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a media background, or an MFA with a strong technical background are both acceptable. Industrial experience is an asset. Candidates for Associate Professorship are expected to have established research and teaching records.


Monthly Salary (currently under review) and Conditions of Service

Associate Professor : HK$75,345 - $101,215
Assistant Professor* : HK$48,495 - $81,015

*Appointees offered at HK$68,055 per month or above may be considered for award of the Associate Professor title.

Appointment will be on fixed-term contract with contract-end gratuity. Generous fringe benefits include medical and dental schemes, annual leave, and housing assistance where applicable.
