Job Desc:
(Appointment for 10 months with possibility of extension) [Ref. C/R/340]
Projects :
(1) Administrative Reform in Asia: The Cases of Thailand and Vietnam
(2) The Policy Capacity of Political Executives in Hong Kong, Malaysia and South Korea
Duties : Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data on institutional arrangements and policy outputs of governments in East and Southeast Asia.
Requirements : A good honours degree/Master's degree in Political Science or associated discipline. Experience in retrieval and analysis of government statistics and public documents, good writing and communication skills is required. Good understanding of structures and processes of government and public administration would be an advantage. For appointment as Senior Research Assistant, a Master's degree plus 1 year's experience is required.
Monthly Salary (currently under review) and Conditions of Service
Senior Research Assistant : HK$19,055 - $25,530
Research Assistant : HK$10,420 - $18,140
Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
