PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS (IT AND COMPUTER

School of Continuing Studies
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines; and (ii) minimum two years' relevant teaching experience in at least one of the following areas:
MCSE 2000/XP; CCNA/CCNP; CISSP; Linux/UNIX; Novell Netware; Programming (BASIC, Pascal, C/C++, Visual BASIC, Visual C++, SQL, Access, Visual FoxPro, Palm/WinCE programming, NET Framework); Computer Networking; Data Communication; Mobile and Wireless Technology; e-commerce; Web administration, Web Page production and design (HTML, CGI/Per1, ActiveX, ASP, XML, DHTML, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, JSP), FrontPage, Dreamweaver; Visual InterDev; Computer and Internet Security; Cryptography; Multimedia Technology and Production (Flash, Director, Shockwave, Authorware, Fireworks, Freehand, PhotoShop, Premiere, Illustrator, CorelDraw); Computer Education (Primary and Secondary); Management Information Systems; Project Management; System Analysis; Software Engineering; Database Modelling and Design; Customer and Technical Support Services.
Good presentation skills and fluency in spoken English/Cantonese are also important assets. Remuneration will be offered on an hourly basis with reference to the nature of courses taught and applicant's qualifications/experience.

Salary (subject to review) and Fringe Benefits
Part-time Instructor: Salary will be highly competitive.
(approximate exchange rate in May 2002: US$1 = HK$7.75; 1= HK$11.42; CAD$1 = HK$5.00; AU$ = HK$4.24)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The University will arrange contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme where applicable.
