Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research
The Institute offers various part-time programmes in guidance and counselling training for serving teachers, school administrators and school social workers. Applicants should have a Master's degree or above in Guidance and Counselling/Educational Psychology/Social Work or related fields, plus appropriate experience. Appointees should specialize in at least one of the following areas: (i) career counselling; (ii) family therapy; and (iii) crisis and trauma counselling. Appointees will teach for around 13 hours per month, mark assignments, and conduct practicum or workshops (with remuneration payable). Appointments will be made on fixed-term contract basis for one year.
Salary (subject to review) and Fringe Benefits
Part-time Lecturer: HK$700 - 800 per hour
(approximate exchange rate in May 2002: US$1 = HK$7.75; 1= HK$11.42; CAD$1 = HK$5.00; AU$ = HK$4.24)
