The Art School of Hong Kong Arts Centre is committed to nurturing young artists in Hong Kong. If you share the same goal, YOU are the one that we are looking for!
To meet our expansion needs, we would like to invite a number of high calibre to join us in the following areas:
Post A: Award Bearing Programme at Certificate, Diploma/Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Degree and higher level for School leavers and adult learners
(Ref:ABP-PT for Part-time evening post, ABP-DT for Day-time post. Please also specify subject area)
Post B: Interest courses for children
(Ref: CC, please specify subject area)
Requirements:
* Post A:
- MEd, MFA or other relevant Master's Degree holder. Those with less academic qualifications but with substantial working experience in relevant disciplines will also be considered
- Possession of a postgraduate certificate in education is preferred
- Experience in teaching secondary school leavers or adult learners in relevant disciplines is an asset
- Day-time teaching is definitely an advantage
* Post B:
- Degree holder in relevant disciplines
- Possession of a postgraduate certificate in education or certificate in early childhood education is preferred
- Experience in teaching arts courses for children is an advantage
Responsibilities
* Design curriculum and developing course materials
* Teach assigned courses (daytime and evenings/weekends options available)
* Mark assignments and conduct student assessments
* Assist in student admission, course validation, course preparation, student counseling on academic related matters etc
