The Department of Chinese offers courses at both BA and postgraduate levels. The BA (Hons) degree programme emphasises multi-perspective literary study as well as training in media and documentary writing. The research postgraduate programme offered by the Department includes areas such as Classical Chinese literature, Modern and Contemporary Chinese literature, Chinese language and linguistics, Media and creative writing and Chinese History.
The Department is now looking for a Teaching Fellow for 11 months. The appointee will be required to teach courses such as Introduction to Chinese Literature and Creative/Media Writing. Applicants should have a relevant Master's degree or preferably are PhD candidates in the relevant field. Relevant teaching experience will be an advantage.
Monthly Salary Range (under review) and Fringe Benefits:
Teaching Fellow : HK$28,745 - HK$41,465
The commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include medical and dental schemes, annual leave, MPF benefit and, if applicable, gratuity.
