Job Desc:
(a) Assist in the development, maintenance and execution of an effective and efficient practice review programme;
(b) Carry out practice reviews as directed by the Council and the Practice Review Committee, including the preparation of reports and liaison with committee members and senior members of the accounting profession;
(c) Prepare Practice Review Committee meeting agenda papers and attend and prepare minutes of the meetings; and
(d) Carry out other activities relevant to practice reviews assigned by the Director of Professional Compliance.
Candidates should be professional accountants who possess an accounting degree or other relevant qualification and have at least 6 years post qualification experience in professional auditing and assurance work. Candidates should be able to work independently, have good interpersonal and communication skills and be fluent in English and Chinese.
The position of Assistant Director (Professional Compliance) will also be considered to attract candidates with more or extensive practical experience.
