Job Desc:
(6-month Contract) [Ref. PSBG-F&BS-PIC]
Applications are invited for the above vacancy in Finance & Business Support Department of Power Systems Business Group. Reporting to the Manager, Process Improvement this appointee will be responsible to carry out the following duties:
- To assist with the identification of the improvement of existing processes and practices to achieve excellence in customer service and financial performance.
- To assist in managing the implementation of new processes, including the development of documentation and user training.
- To quantify the potential business benefits of process improvements and to make recommendations for change.
- To clarify the process boundaries and to ensure good coordination of action.
- To facilitate process redesign where appropriate, and the implementation of support systems that enable process execution.
- To present recommendations to key stakeholders, from Executive Management to process teams.
Requirements :
- MBA degree holder or equivalent highly preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Business Process Reengineering and implementation of systems in the areas of Finance, Distribution, Production, etc. Direct experience in an electricity utility or other utility business would be highly regarded.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and use of PC- based tools.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills and proven capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English. Cantonese is a plus.
- Effective presentation skills and strong business acumen.
- Candidates who are immediately available will definitely have a decided advantage.
