(Salary : HK$11,500 per month)
Entry Requirements : (a) (i) a degree or a diploma or higher certificate in natural or applied science or a related subject from a Hong Kong university or polytechnic or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/technical institute/college or equivalent; or (ii) an acceptable degree or diploma from an agricultural or forestry school/college, or equivalent, and one year's practical experience in farming, or countryside/flora/wildlife management/animal care/veterinary- related work/work with animals; and (b) grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.
Duties : Perform health, husbandry, livestock production and wildlife conservation work; carry out, develop and implement studies and surveys; undertake regulatory duties, extension work, animal care and management, animal control, animal welfare and staff management.
(Note : May be required to work in any part of Hong Kong, work shifts, carry out stand-by duties, typhoon duties, or other natural disasters; stay overnight away from their base, drive a departmental motor vehicle, and wear uniform if on regulatory work.)
