Job Desc:
(Salary: HK$62,780 per month)
Duties: Leading a small team, to promote foreign direct investment in one of Invest Hong Kong's priority sectors by (a) planning and executing an investment promotion strategy and business plan; (b) taking charge of promotion & aftercare efforts; (c) conducting regular visits to targeted foreign and Mainland companies (both in Hong Kong and overseas), and providing information and assistance to support their investment plans; (d) organising and participating in local and overseas investment promotion activities; and (e) analysing and suggesting ways to improve Hong Kong's competitiveness and attractiveness as a business location for foreign and Mainland companies.
(Note: the post requires some international travel so overseas work experience would be an advantage.)
Entry Requirements: (a) Minimum ten years of post-qualification experience, preferably gained in an account relationship management capacity in an international environment, and preferably involving one or more of Hong Kong's targeted sectors1; (b) A Bachelor's Degree and preferably a higher degree, in business administration, economics, or international marketing from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; (c) Knowledge of and experience in investment promotion or economic development is an advantage; and (d) Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must and proficiency in Putonghua and Shanghainese would be an advantage.
