Job Desc:
Entry Pay: $15,850 per month
Entry Requirements:
Candidates should (a) have a pass in 2 subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and 3 further subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) and Mathematics at Grade C or above in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; (b) have Grade E or above in Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent, if Chinese Language is not included in the 5 subjects at (a) above; (c) pass a medical examination including an eyesight test in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization standards; and (d) pass a pilot aptitude test.
Note: (i) Suitable candidates without an acceptable qualification in Chinese Language may also apply but may be required to pass an appropriate language proficiency test conducted by the Civil Service Examinations Unit before they can be offered appointment. (ii) Candidates may be required to undergo other appropriate tests.
Duties:
Undergo training in pilot duties normally for a period of 3 years. He/She will be subject to discipline and may be required to receive training in any part of Hong Kong or overseas, live in quarters, wear uniform and undergo training in irregular hours including weekends.
