Steeped in the charming old Hong Kong's history, The Pottinger is a 68-room luxury hotel situated on the city's historic first pebble street, welcoming visitors to experience the dynamic and vibrant neighbourhood of Central.
Rising on the uphill elevation of the Pottinger Street, The Pottinger is centrally located in the heart of Central, a pivotal hub of business and finance, shopping, dining, culture and entertainment. The Pottinger is where East meets West, where Modernity meets Heritage.
In view of our expanding business and dynamic operational environment, we are now seeking a high-calibre individual for the following position.
Responsibilities
- Monitors guest services officers to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure
- Establishes and maintains effective employee relations
- Oversees maintenance of efficient repeat guest history system
- Handles guest complaint and follows up on corrective action
- Keeps up-to-date on happenings in hotel as well as in the city and provides the information to guests accordingly
- Obtains guest comment, updates guests history and provides prompt service to guests
- Performs related duties and special project as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year relevant experience preferably in hotel industry
- Knowledge of Opera System is preferred
- Pleasant personality, customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Putonghua and other language would be an asset
