|
Major Duties:
(a) To manage secondary school outreach programme for the promotion of various educational programmes under the VTC;
(b) To plan and coordinate community relations activities to step up the presence of VTC in the community;
(c) To build up goodwill and relationship with external stakeholders, including the school sectors, NGOs and parent groups;
(d) To seek collaborative projects with external stakeholders for extending the VTC’s presence in the community; and
(e) To assist in devising and implementing communications strategies for improving stakeholders’ perception.
Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree or equivalent;
(b) At least 5 years’ relevant working experience at the executive level in the field of marketing, preferably with work exposure in school or community relations;
(c) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, high proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage;
(d) Supervisory experience required;
(e) Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; and
(f) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Note:
(1) The post is at the rank of “Senior Officer”.
(2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit for a written test.
(3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
(4) Applicants are required to highlight their language proficiency (e.g. HKCEE, HKAL, IELTS, CRE, etc.) in their curriculum vitae.
(5) Suitable candidate(s) with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Manager / Officer.
