Jobs - Media / Journalism Email A Friend ASSISTANT PROGRAMME OFFICER IN RADIO AND TELEVISION DIVISIONS Company:RADIO TELEVISION HONG KONG (Civil Service Vacancies) Job Desc:Entry Requirements : Candidates should have (a)(i) a pass in 2 subjects at advanced level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Grade C or above in 3 other subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; and 2 years' experience in fine music, broadcasting or journalism; or (ii) a Diploma in Music Studies, Communication or Journalism from a registered post-secondary college issued after the date of its registration, or equivalent; or (iii) a Diploma in Music or Video Production from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, or equivalent; and 2 years' experience in fine music, broadcasting or journalism; or (iv) a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent; or (v) at least 5 years' relevant experience in fine music, broadcasting or journalism; and (b) a pass in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; and (c) good broadcasting voice. Duties : Being responsible for undertaking research work, planning and designing programme contents, conducting interviews, assisting in programme production, producing simple programmes, presenting programmes, assisting in studio and outside concert recordings/broadcasts; reading news reports, translating/rewriting local and international news stories and performing general reporting duties. (Note : Successful candidates will be posted to work in both the Radio and Television Divisions during the first three years of appointment. Required to work irregular hours/over-night shifts.)
