Assistant Merchandiser
Duties

Working with English speakers daily by phone and e-mail
Progress Shipping documents with manufacturers and freight forwarders
Arrange best ship method and consolidation
Book and schedule shipments
Track and report on status of shipments
Maintain and Control the product approval process
Control and Monitor the specification process
Work with UK Office to progress product specifications and artwork
Provide reports and analysis as required
Monitor productions schedules
Regular communication with manufacturers and UK Office
General Office Administration

Requirement

F.7 minimum with Diploma or above
Excellent in English and Mandarin – spoken and written
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Good experience of Shipping
Knowledge of Asia customs and shipping regulations would be an advantage
Knowledge of the stationery market for UK and Europe would be an advantage
Effective communicator at all levels
Excellent PC skills in MS Word and Excel
Independent, hardworking, well-organised, self motivated with strong attention to detail.
